Background
I've spent twenty-plus years building software. Most recently I was Director of Engineering at a major e-commerce company, leading the merchant platform for its food delivery business. Before that, at a leading fintech, I built a team from zero and shipped a product that's still in its lineup today — part of a decade in payments, risk and commerce, there and at a global card network. Earlier I led engineering at a global apparel retailer and an online marketplace group, running distributed teams across five countries.
Today I design production AI systems: agent orchestration, retrieval, memory, evaluation and guardrails.
Alongside what I build myself, I invest personally in a small number of early-stage AI and commerce startups, angel and seed, usually alongside people I know.
